last night me and a couple of friends went to a party of a college friend. the food was damn great...even if it wasnt, i couldnt have cared because i was so damn freaking hungry. it was nice to see some old college friends and catch up quite a bit with them. my my my, time really does fly...it feels like it was just college a couple of months ago...but when i really do think about it, daaaamn...tagal na pala! pucha! tumatanda na talaga kami!
 
there was one thing though...i was being teased by the celebrant with one of her friends. dyahe! dyahe dun sa girl...most importantly, dyahe kay lara. sana walang isipin na masama si lara. oi lara, sorry talaga!
 
after the dinner, we went to peligro to catch kjwan and bamboo. astig! got a few tips or two from the rakstars themselves. as expected, jorel again amazed me with his guitar works...along with kelly (bassist). i just wished that marc didnt exxxxxxaaaag on that "mikey we love you till our deaths" thingy! bumanat pa ng "to hell with the rockstar stuff. we love mikey from the bottom of our hearts!" pota pwede ba yun?! eh the mere fact na paulit ulit mo sinasabi to the point na nakakairita na...rakstar ka eh! pero got the point...condolences to mikey's family (whoever he is).
 
tangnang vic mercado yan! one of the best drummers i've seen since harley alarcon. daaaamn...parang wala lang sa kanya yung ginagawa niya eh. it also made me realize that the band bamboo is 1/2 rivermaya and 1/2 passage...yep...the showband from the 90's...passage...ala "you won't see me crying" crap. nothing against passage. i like them...but bamboo and the rock scene is a totally different thing. labo lang ni ira at ni vic...maybe they've seen the light nga (gaya ng sabi ni lara). watching bamboo sing and nathan play the bass at the same time made me realized how much better rivermaya was. sorry maya peeps, the current peeps in your roster right now doesnt even compare to the old maya. bamboo's soothing vocals, nathans wild and crazy basslines...damn. namiss ko tuloy high school.

Gelo of Saguijo texted me last night confirming the date for the next bembang! production. So, its set. on august 20, hiraya, holding hands, suspicious character (my band gerdamit!), and a soon to be named band will be playing long sets at saguijo. pootangina niyo! manuod kayo! first gig namin yan. we need all the fuckin support we can get. :D

last night was one helluva night...whew! :D more than 2 hours of jamming. it made me more excited about the up coming prod. we practiced a total of 7 songs...just about enough for the long set the next bembang! prod will require.
 
one thing that made me really smile and happy was when rica (our drummer) told us that it was very "nakakakilabot" when i was doing back-up vox to lara in one of our originals (perfect day). astig! astig! frustrated singer eto!!!
 
funny...it made me more confident to sing "a plain morning" with lara. hehehe! i hope i dont screw that one up.
 
after jamming, lara and i ate at the fastfood house in front of millenia...their mami was good...and lara enjoyed her lechon rice too. :D cheap food for cheap peeps like us!
 
definitely...last night was one of those nights that i wasnt EMO! astig? astig talaga!
 
later, we're going to watch bamboo and kjwan at peligro after we go to jamie's dinner partee somewhere in jupiter. :D hoi! pinoi akow! I hope gelo (the owner of saguijo) texts me today and confirms the august 20 date for the next bembang! prod. that would really make my day... :D mwehehehe!

astig...today was supposed to be my deadline to decide on which company to work for starting next week...buuuuut, i didnt call them both. astig noh!? :D well...there are a lot of factors that i am considering in choosing which company to work for...working during saturdays, the pay, opportunities abroad, my band...one of the companies is eurotiles which makes and sells tiles the other is MISNet (another IT firm). well...wish me luck! i just hope i decide on it real quick. i expect them to call me up tomorrow for an answer.
 
haaaaaay, whatta day. i've been thinking about a lot of stuff again (as usual...so, what's new?!)...ayun.  i also got to talk to a friend about a problem that has been bugging me for a few weeks now. wala....wala pa ring solution. hehehe! go with the freakin' flow! emo pa rin...all day and all of the night!
 
i went to saguijo with mark and nikki earlier this afternoon to discuss the 2nd staging of the Bembang! productions...astig! it will most likely be on august 20 (unless pan confirms...then it will be on sept 4). as planned earlier, we're going to do this regularly...hopefully a monthly thing (if not, then we're definitely pushing for every other month). hope you guys can make it on the 20th (if ever it pushes through)...playing will be holding hands, hiraya and suspicious character (panalo!). a 4th band will be named in a week or two. the bands will be definitely playing looong sets.

elo! elo! a lot of my friends have been telling me to create a blog site of my own...just to let everything in my freaking head out. well...here it is...
 
i've been a bum for almost a month now...i got no more money but at least, i did get to do the things i wanted to do. i finally have a band, i've been spending a lot of times with my friends, i've been spending a lot of time with my guitar, and i get to watch TV! :D astig? astig!
