last night's gig was a blast. walang nanuod. puro mga friends or members lang from other bands. sometimes, i prefer these more intimate setups. yung tipong onti lang nanunuod. somehow, it gives me more freedom to do whatever it is i want on stage.

yisyisyo! overrated daw ang hiraya. please do catch them on their few remaining gigs and see for yourself. hahahaha!

currently listening to: soapdish - pain redefined

last night's gig at mag:net was great. we played around 7 songs...3 covers and 4 originals. mr. romeo lee asked us to play first since we were complete and none of the other bands were present. he also asked us to play a long set to stall the time for the other bands...hence the 7 song set. we played "here and now" by letters to cleo, "6 underground" by the sneaker pimps, and "eternal flame" by the bangles.

for the original songs, we asked mike bacalzo (of comets tale) to play with us as 2nd guitars. i sent him mp3 demos of our songs and the chords on how to play them...he did pretty well..so well that i was convinced to add him to our band. we still need to discuss other details though but it's almost a sure thing.

he'll also be playing with us on the remaining gigs for january...

on the 24th, we'll be at purple haze in marikina (free entrance)...and on the 25th at 6underground in makati. check us out...and check out our new sound.

parang tagal ko na di nagbblog ah...it's only been a couple of days. work is to darn hectic. soooobrang daming kelangan gawin at imeet na deadlines. pero ayus lang. it's all good. it's all part of the job.

nuod kayo ng gigs namin this month. swaabeeeeeeeeee....

may DIY project nga pala ako. dahil ako'y medyo kapos sa budget ngayon..gumagawa ako ng DIY pedal board that will double as my carrying case. im trying to keep my budget under P500. hehehe...pero muhkang kelangan kong magpagawa na lang ng daisy chain to power my pedals. medyo mahina tayo sa electronics stuff eh. i talked to someone who knows how to make one but he's charging me P600 for that. phoota! mas mahal pa yun sa pedal board na ginagawa ko ah. hehehe! i might need to use batteries muna for now. :D

nung 29, nasa gweilo's kami...ganda ng gamit...pero wierd. nawawala wala nanaman sound ko...eventually, i found out that my effects are freaking busted. gastos nanaman...pero ayus lang. it was due for a mod/repair anyway...im going to have it freaking fixed really soon cause that's one effect i badly need.

may sira pang gumalaw ng settings ko sa amp...imbes na clean tone ako..biglang naging distorted tuloy..panira. pero ayus lang.

labo pa..nagapply pa na roadie after our set. hahaha! ayus ah.
