ayus din eh noh? things from the past came back to me...wala lang. its nice to look back at the things that happened before. dont get me wrong. i do not want them to come back nor haunt me. i dont think it'll happen again. i finally realized that i am now over those stuff. ngayon lang siguro kasi di ko naman iniisip eh. anyways...its done and over with...and im happy. im happy with where i am right now, what i am right now, who im with right now. no regrets. i believe everything happened for a reason. thank god.

last thursday was one helluva gig. we might not have played as a band but lara and i jammed with lee's other band and i jammed with mayonnaise. maski na hindi yung pinagusapang kanta yung tinugtog ko, ayus lang. ang saya. :D sana maulit yung mga ganun.


tomorrow...last gig of the year na namin. sa freedom ulit. we'll be playing with rsgd, cactus clank, monkeyspank, soap dish and fellow bembang band hiraya. :D

last night, i tried the new effects i bought...the ds-2 turbo distortion...astig. swabe...although di ko mahanap yung gusto ko na settings...all in all, oks naman siya...i just need to spend a bit more time in tweaking the settings.

shet...malapit na akong ipatapon sa china. sabi nila dito, may ininterview daw sila kahapon na mandarin na pm...sana tanggapin na para di ako mawala ng matagal. :(

yesterday, i met up with jimmy...a guy who i met through the internet because he posted an ad in livebands.ph. Thanks to jc, i was able to see the post...jc went with me to check out the analog effects pedal he was selling. it was a turbo distortion...ds-2, supposedly a newer version of what jc lent me (the ds-1). astig...we tried it out, oks naman yung tunog....looks battered though...but for the price that i got it...sulit na sulit na. :D now i have 6 pedals to step on! astiiiig...im thinking of actually returning the ds-1 since the ds-2 can sound like the ds-1. depends on the needs though. :D

last night, anne and i had a bit of a problem....it was actually one of the biggest we've encountered so far...i just hope everything turns out ok for the both of us.

wow. i saw the site of sonnet 58, i was quite in awe. eto yung tipo ng banda na kapag narinig mo yung kanta..."narinig ko na yan dati ah...hmmm..sounds familiar". i dont know...but, i've been looking for their EP or album for years (just like me looking for star69's burning down the house). astig astig. at least i found a couple of mp3s... so, this will keep me satisfied for now..pero medyo low quality eh.

i borrowed the adapter and cables of an officemate who has a MD player. so im currently listening to the "recording" we made last week. some tracks sounded nice...some sounded bad...i think the engineer there did some twitching that made it sound worse. anyway, we'll try it again next time...and i hope we succeed.

dammit! naputol strings ko when we were playing last night sa freedom bar. swanget tuloy lumabas nung ibang songs. medyo compromised version pa yung orig namin (fave ko) "bittersweet". dammit talaga.

i think we played around 9-10 songs to a crowd of around 5-6 peopls (not including the waiters). hahaha! parang open jam/audition kasi yung nangyari eh. sugar (ni jc), candice (berdy's girl), and berdy (our number one fan/roadie/"manager" kung kelangan makapasok ng libre sa gigs/friend) were there. salamat ng marami. astig talaga kayo.

tonight. jam nanaman. di ko pa napapalitan strings ko. olats. everybody knows na when you change strings, you usually need a day or two for it to settle down and adjust to the guitar. oh well. bahala na later. crap!
