life suck! gig great!

eheads soundtrip ako ngayon. i miss them. the greatest band this country has ever produced. 'nuff said.

last night was one helluva gig. hardcore sa dami ng tao. we went first and played 6 songs...damn, i must be getting old cause i got really exhausted after we played. we played our usual set (perfect day, bittersweet, fed up, feigning indifference, eternal flame and hanggang takipsilim). crowd was great. hehehe! day one followed us then mayonnaise then happy meals then hiraya.

lupet din ng hiraya kagabi. well, i expect nothing less from them anyway. i expect them to take the music scene by storm anytime soon. (oi mark! waaaag..sayaaaaang! hehe!)

something suddenly hit me....again. wala lang. emo nanaman. life is unfair. it really is.

for people like me...all you can do is dream...ito na lang naman ata ang libre sa mundo ngayon diba? astig. kaya sinusulit ko.

when i was in gradeschool/highschool my goals in life were pretty simple. have a small closely knit family, have my own resto which can support my family, excel in either sports or music. so far, i havent reached any of those...

yes, i am in a band right now but it doesnt mean that i am excelling in what i do. like what i've been telling people. im not good. i really am not...but i try to make up for that with passion. i really love what i'm doing. once you hit those chords/notes...once the music starts...it's like heaven. i love playing on-stage.

once you get older, you certainly realize a lot of stuff. life's not fair. everything you do is bullshit. pero pwede din namang life is good. everything happens for a reason. half empty, half full kumbaga. depends on how you look at it. feeling ko lang, sa sobrang daming frustrations ko sa buhay, mas nakakapagfocus ako sa negative side of things...

rich people get to do whatever they want to. minsan, they complain about being so restricted in what they can do, etc etc...for someone like me who doesnt have it all, it should be seen as a blessing.......but then again, for someone like them, things i do and dont have may be seen as a blessing as well.

anyways...wala atang sense tong entry ko na to. pakshet. ang gulo ko.

last night's gig was pretty fun. although i was quite dizzy and i wasnt feeling well, it was one heckuva gig. marami pa rin kaming mga sabit, pero it's all good. the crowd was fairly appreciative of our music and of course, our crowd favorite cover of the bangles' eternal flame.

i saw my xavier batchmates there too. some of them also has a band. they're called crayola. i didnt get to see them perform but its all good. i'm going to catch them really soon somewhere...somehow.

astig. napapablog ako bigla. ito..i'll be heading for africa in a few days. tentative date of my flight/departure is on nov 7. more or less, ill be back around nov. 22. katamad. pakshet. hahaha! africa...the land where there are plenty of sickness, plenty of war everywhere. we were told that the place (or places for that matter) in africa that we will be visiting isnt the bestest place to visit africa. one travel advisory even posted that "when the french arrived at this place, they started leaving". astig diba? we also saw the list of diseases...pakshet..andami. karamihan pa dun, di ko maintindihan. hahaha! pero iisipin ko na lang na pera din makukuha ko dito....besides, i think i need a break from my usual crappy life here. away from family, away from friends (if that's what you can call them. hahaha!), and away from the office.

watched hiraya at simmer down bar last night. we were supposed to play pero di pwede si jc da bassist extraordinaire....so we had to cancel...i watched hiraya na rin just the same. libre naman entrance eh. great set. they played one of their newest songs (first time ever i think). i think it's called "kim". galing. hirayang hiraya pa rin! hahaha! they also did a cover of razorback's "nakaturo sa 'yo". that explains why i've suddenly unearthed my old CDs. damn, now i really miss my beggar's moon and hebigat sounds album (which also got stolen along with my car). pakshet you dammit! die! ahem...hehehe!

i've been talking to les over ym the past few days..wala lang..reminiscing our old college days. hahaha! we never cease to talk about pam. kamusta na nga kaya talaga si pamparapampam...pampam! hahaha! we've heard a few rumors about her...pero that's about it. hahaha!

tangina...the good old days...you cant do anything about them anymore...wala lang...sarap lang magreminisce. astig.
