meetings galore

for the past week puro meetings lang ako dito sa office. our clients from the africa project came over to discuss a few things and so far, everything has been running smoothly. i just wish that when the actual work comes, smooth lang din. hehehe! muhkang sobrang busy yung team for the rest of the year....SOBRA. shuttling back and forth from one african country to another. yari! hehe!

i got a new delay pedal! thanks to los of up dharma down...i got his DOD DFX94. sabi ni los, ito din daw yung ginamit niya sa recording ng song na "pag-agos". sana maging kasing galing ako ni los (nyek! labo! hehe!). pero honestly, since sobrang scarce ang BOSS DD-3, muhkang this delay pedal will do. Nabenta ko na din kasi yung ZOOM 508 multi-delay pedal ko eh.

i can't wait to grab my guitar and play with this new pedal. yun nga lang, medyo hirap sa oras...pag uwi from the meetings, sobrang pagod na.

i caught up dharma down last night at tower records in glorietta. galing talaga. maski live, lupet. i caught them playing oo, pag-agos, sleeptalk, malikmata, and we give in sometimes. los paraded a new guitar. wala lang. ganda din.

i can't help but noticed how awed the people were while they were watching them...then again, i cant blame them din. malupet naman kasi talaga eh.

if you havent seen this band live...you should do. 'nuff said.

thanks to los for telling me they had a gig at tower yesterday. keep up the good work dude!

i can't wait for tomorrow. i'm going to buy my car a new set of mags! woooohoooo! onti na lang talaga tapos na ako. hehehe! after i finish with my car, ipon naman. wala pa rin akong naiipon eh.

may EK elites (ng HCP) get together bukas sa the fort (chowking parking lot). sa mga naka EK, kita kits!

the end of an era...

last night's gig at 6underground marked the end of an era (or so as they say). although we sucked last night (a testimony of our lack of practice)...i had a great time. a number of people came to watch and somehow, i didnt care whether what the people thought of us. like what i told mike (now also of menaya), "wild tayo mamya ah!"....he replied with a smile and said "lagi naman eh!"

the reason why i mentioned that last night was the end of an era is because hiraya played it's last gig. Ala will migrate to australia soon with the rest of her family and hiraya will be once more left with no one to man the mic. mark hasnt even though about what's going to happen but i am prodding him to continue what he has started. it's sad to see one act full of potential just go to waste. this is one of the bands that i've followed through out their so-called "career" and i'm just damn proud of it.

tuloy niyo lang yan...i still believe in you guys. rak lang! banat lang ng banat!

labo ata ng post ko ngayon...pakshet! too damn tired with all these mid-shift/night shift work. i badly need to rest.

....now to get back to dressing up my euro EK!
