last sunday, went to mark's office in bicutan to get the ferio seats. andumi sobra...pero ayus lang..napashampoo ko na. takte, di na tuloy ako magkasya sa kotse ko. mas mataas na siya kesa sa normal...so yun. pero its all good. its an upgrade eh.

i've been scouting for power supplies for my effects...natatakot ako bumili kasi baka masayang lang kapag di gumana..pero i will most likely get one this evening.

last night...i went to the album launch of soapdish. swabe yung lugar ah. ganda nung sounds...ganda din ng ambiance (although nothing beats saguijo)...dami ding tsikabebes na andun! hehehe...chatted with jason of twisted halo, shellby of maple syrup, luanne and the rest of the soapdish boys. si bubu nga pala andun din. ayus din. congrats. swabe sa dami ng tao. nice gig guys. kampai tayo!

tomorrow, soapdish will launch their self-titled album at phi bar in metrowalk. kudos to the soapdish boys. check them out if you have time. bwehehe...yun lang. kurt, sama moooooooooooo...hahaha!

last night i went to the aquarium again to finish up my parts for "hanggang takipsilim". monty and i was quite happy with the results. this has got to be the most guitar parts i've done in a single song so far. i think the guitar tracks for this song is around 4-6 tracks. whoooweeee! for the verses, i used the chorus and flanger for the strumming parts, chorus for the plucking parts, and chorus and delay for the solo parts. mark used his RP-50 for his solo part. monty and i used the board's distortion for the heavy and intro part. i then used the board's distortion with my flanger for the intro parts again. to sum it up...hindi na manipis yung tunog ng kanta...actually, natatakot ako na baka sumobra yung kapal niya. pero it's all good. its now ready for lara to fill in her vocal tracks. she's got around 2 tracks to fill in. after that, i'll record an acoustic version of one of our songs...most likely perfect day.

the excitement for the release of our ep has again creeped up on me. potangina! sa wakas...malapit na talaga to. after the acoustic parts, mixing na. roughly, it will take around 2-3 more sessions...then it's off to the reproduction stage.

medyo bonding din kami ni monty kagabi. hahaha! kwentuhan tungkol sa mga banda..sa banda niya, banda ko, side band niya at mga iba't iba pang banda sa eksena. it's nice to hear from somebody who's already there in the industry for quite some time. marami rami ka ring matututunang aral eh.

next recording session will either be on sunday or thursday...depending on monty's sched. hope all's well para tuloy tuloy na. i would also prefer na i-re-record ni mark solo parts niya. medyo di ok yung acoustics eh.

honestly, i believe that we're going to make it. i'm going to do everything i can for us to make it (basta wag lang ako maurat...again). hehehe! basta. kung di kasi ako naniniwala...eh di wag na lang...

"pinoy/blonde" and "if only". ayus din ang pinoy/blonde. nakakaaliw. astig din yung effects. umaangat na nga talaga ang pelikulang pinoy. props to direk peque gallaga and lore reyes. astig. if only naman...i watched it because jennifer love hewitt was in it. hahaha...kung babae siguro ako, maiiyak ako dito. ayus lang naman din. senti emo shit. hehehe! mga what ifs na may chance kang bumawi.

sana magkaroon pa ng mas maraming pelikula tulad ng pinoy/blonde. napanuod ko rin yung trailer ng "'d anothers"...mapanuod nga. muhkang ok din na nonsense movie eh. hahaha!

JC and i went to the fiestamundo office last tuesday. requirement nila 2 songs so kelangan pa namin magmix ng medyo malinis linis ng isa pa. iniisip pa rin namin kung ano possible songs na pwede ilagay dun. feeling kasi namin medyo may complications yan kapag na-sign na kami ng label (hahaha! wishful thinking)

bahala na. this sunday na next na recording. kelangan na talaga to matapos...this is WAAAAAAAAAAAY LONG OVERDUEEEEEEEEEEEE!

last saturday we had a gig at the kolumn bar near timog. got to know mike of comets tale. kakilala ko kasi yung brother niya dati when i crossed enrolled during summer class. astig.

that gig was the last gig arlene will be having with hiraya. she's leaving the band because she's having a hard time juggling her professional career with the band. medyo marami na nga silang malulupet na gigs na pinalagpas because of this. pero tangna, medyo nalungkot ako. malaking kawalan yan dahil honestly, malaking bagay si arlene sa tunog ng hiraya. i just hope things turn out well for the rest of the band. anyways...saw a couple of hiraya EPs all over the metro yesterday. nilipat ko pa yung iba sa front rack para makita kagad ng tao. tangna mark, may bayad yun ah!

grabbed a copy of the soapdish CD. ayus din naman. medyo nagulat lang ako sa kakaibang areglo nung tensionado at pwede ba. pero pwede na rin. lol..i just thought that the EP version was better...has a bit more edge to it. badtrip nga lang, di ko makita yung EP ko ng soapdish. notable tracks include sana sinabi, pain redefined (this track is sooooooo...haaaaaay...hehe!), hintay and the usual faves...tensionado, ewan ko, dahil sa ulan and pwede ba. kudos to kurt, jeff, terence and ceasar. astig kayo!

hassle. ang aga ko gumising para di ako malate kasi umuulan...pero nalate pa rin ako. nasira kanina kotse ko. pagka-park ko dun sa parkingan ko, napansin ko na ayaw mamatay ng brake light ko. labo. tinanggal ko na yung fuse, ayaw pa rin. di ko naman makalas yung bumbilya kasi ang init sobra. tinanggal ko na lang eventually yung battery. badtrip. gastos nanaman ito for sure.

last night's recording sessions was a fairly productive one. mark recorded his solo parts for "hanggang takipsilim". it turns out na magsosolo din pala ako kahit onti dun. hahaha! ayus. fear ko lang, yung gagawin ko..di swak sa solo na ginawa niya. medyo kakaiba eh. hahaha..pero ayus din.

last friday...i passed by forcedspeed racing at katipunan. andun kasi si mevs at may tinotono daw sila na ek civic. ayus din. pagkatapos nila dun sa pagtono, pinagusapan naman ng board ng forcedspeed ang pagbuo sa bagong race car. muhkang eg sedan ang bubuuhin. hehehe..astig din. parang nakakaenganyo na magbuo din ng oto.

last saturday...nakabit ko na rin sa wakas yung amber climate control ko. dami kong sugat sa kamay..pero sulit. ganda na ng dashboard ng oto ko...gauges na lang talaga pwede na. :D hehehe! tipid mode upgrades eto. sulit na din pagkapalit ko sa climate control ko kasi medyo sira na yung dati...di na umiilaw ng tama.

nagkabit din ako ng wiper holder kasi napansin ko medyo madaling masira mga wipers na kinakabit ko..tapos DIY din na headlight buzzer. bale, kung nakapatay makina mo tapos nakabukas headlights mo, may tunog na lalabas. astig...wiper holder for less than P200...tapos buzzer for P50. pwedeeeeeeeeee!
