wow...astig ng gig kagabi. although la masyado tao (as usual, hehe!)...it was a pretty good gig. we played sleep well (rocking horse winner), perfect day, bittersweet, and fed up. astiiiig. first time din namin tumugtog ng ganun kalate. usually we go first eh. hehehe...overall it was a good experience for us.

badtrip di ako umabot sa set ng mayo. hassle. nagkaproblems sa house ni gf eh. emergency.

last night was holding hands' gig at mayrics. astig. nice tight set. we talked about recording already and the guys are leaning towards recording at wombworks. astig. i just hope, i can get them gigs. typecast who?! lol.

wow. kapagod yung recording kahapon. we finished 3 drum tracks only. took us from around 4pm-8pm. wow. kapagod! hehehe! next week hopefully we can finish all the drum tracks and bass tracks. first off...kelangan ayusin muna yung areglo ng 2 remaining songs.

damn. can't get mayonnaise out of my head. i just wish i could write songs like monty can. his lyrics are simple, straight to the point, and it cuts straight to the heart. his melodies and music are classics. its like he knows how to chop off certain parts from songs and then combine them together to make his own. my hats off to you dude.

which leads me to think...ang galing. parang si rico (ng maya). baduy nga, pero you have to admit...catchy mga riffs at melodies niya...the lyrics are also simple and can be related by normal peeps.

wala lang. nagrarant lang ako. i've been trying to create new songs...pero walang lumalabas sa akin. things i am listening to now to help me out...mayonnaise's self titled album, imago's take two album, rivermaya's you'll be safe here, kitchie nadal's acoustic tracks, francism stuff, urbandub, violent playground, kapatid, POT, and dave matthews. hehehe..just in case may mapulot ako.

ayun...excited na ako. jamming later. recording on sunday afternoon. sana mapagusapan mamaya kung papano masesettle yung magiging bill para sa recording.

last night, i went to arlington with some of my high school friends to visit my highschool classmate whose dad passed away last jan 2. wala lang...weird lang ng feeling...last year, jan 2 din namatay lolo ko. tangna, same chapel pa...hunyeta! ayaw kong gawing yearly ritual yung pumunta sa arlington ah!

good news....the trip to china might be moved to february. might be...but not sure. sana. sana din, may kapalit na ako. tangna, ayaw ko iwanan mga maiiwan ko dito.

brand new year. brand new working day. bleh! crap! nonetheless, i would like to start the year right.

to 2004, thanks for the memories...

it was quite an eventful year...yes, indeed.

i finally had a band (yun nga lang, may mga sabit...hindi swabe pero ayus na rin kahit pano). i had a new job (hassle nga lang sa banda at sa iba pang buhay). i had a totally new outlook in life....and a new girl.

hope this year brings out the best in all of us. sana magprosper tayong lahat.
